Bugy Craxone is a rare example of a band that actually left a major label (Victor Entertainment) to form a credible indie label of its own (ZubRockA). It just goes to show that there are still a few bands that are in it for the love of music rather than money, fame and the chance to snort some blow off a hooker's ass. Plus this way they get to be as harsh and post-punk crazy as they want without "the man" telling them they need more ballads. Thank god for that, because when left to their own devices, Bugy (their name is a mash up of "Buu" [negativity] "Jii" [optimism] and "klaxon") can really deliver the goods.
