I don't know if it's too early to say that the all girl angry punk band is a cliché or not, but it seems that there are more and more of them every day. It's easy to shrug most of them off as novelty acts, but every once in a while one comes along that features members who can play rather then simply pose for the camera. (Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of vapid boy-punk bands too.) Bleach is definitely a group of players. Songs like "Naked Queen" and "Width Of A Field Of View," with their incredibly fast bass lines and piercing guitars, might even give bands like Primus a run for their money. Add in a healthy dose of restraint and *gasp* dynamics and you have a band that it would be a mistake to ignore.
