Motocompo are a straight up techno-pop band. While not overly cute like YMCK or overly dance oriented link Capsule, they fall somewhere into the fun and childlike dance-pop genre. Like the American bands Freezepop and Devo (or perhaps early P-Model would be the Japan equivalent), they blend a heavy indie mentality with their synth-pop sound which brings an overall pleasant quirkiness to their sound.
