The electro vis-kei duo Schwarz Stein only existed for a brief period. From 2001 to 2004 they only released two albums, with a third released under the name Another Cell in 2006. All of their work features purely electronic sounds, fronted by Kaya's deep, overly melodramatic vocals. While their music may be intense, fast and dripping with dark cosmic blackness, it's their physical look that really steals the show. With Kaya's bent gender and Hora's detailed face symbology it's often hard to tell what they spend more time on, their music or their makeup. Then again, in the world of vis-kei, what's the difference?
