Japanator Radio 67

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Also, my back is a wreck because I've had to start shoveling all that damn Christmas out of my driveway. That hasn't exactly put my in the spirit, so I'll be damned if I'm gonna be slathering the show with all sorts of holiday cheer. Not yet.

Instead, this week on the show we've got new singles from Straightener and Tommy Heavenly6, electrified Bach from Omodaka and sgt. in the Artist Spotlight. Take that, Santa!

REMINDER: I'm currently working on the Best Japanese Albums of 2008. What did you like most from this year? Share it in the comments? Why not?

Not to sound cliché, but I would say Polysics' album from this year "We ate the machine" as one of the best things to leave Japan this year and I think you feel the same, seeing as you're a die-hard polysics fan.

Yeah, it's sometimes tough for me to put aside my rampant Polysics fanboyism. :D I actually wasn't too sure about Machine at first, but it's really grown on me. I can't wait to see what next year has to offer from them!
