Fullarmor is the side-project of Straightener front-man Atsushi Horie, along with three other members of other bands. Their first self titled album is very much like Atsushi's main gig, namely guitar heavy emo-esque indie rock, centered around his vocals. That first album is the only time that Atsushi sings along with playing guitar, just as he does in Straightener. The two following albums find him sticking only to keyboards and guitar.
Once the band went instrumental, things changed drastically. The songs became much more complex and flowing. It's as if taking out Atshushi's vocals allowed them to flex their muscles a bit and breathe some jazz into their compositions. The funky jazz elements remind me very much of the video game cover band The Advantage, or perhaps an upbeat Downey. The songs are rather game-like, sounding a bit like crazy boss themes or space adventures. This may be because the songs are locked into one main riff or basic idea rather than the usual verse/chorus structure. The production is very open and loose, giving them a very live feel as well, again much like the way The Advantage approaches their covers.
The band also has two bass players, which also adds a unique sound to the mix. Along with Atshishi's piano and keyboard playing, the band has come a long way from their indie-rock origins and moved into their own new territory.

I guess it's sold out, so they put it up for free! It's on the right side at the bottom, under the album art.
There already is a Christian Rock band performing for over 2 decades now going by the name of "Full Armor".They are an Outreach band that is part of "New Life Outreach International" in Fredericksburg VA. The band has consisted of different members over the years. Pastor David Hirsch owns the rights to the bands songs, lyrics and name. For booking information of "Full Armor", you can contact davidhirsh2@yahoo.com or call (540) 834-2331. There style of Music is much heavier rock then what this younger "Full Armor THE Band" is performing. The one likeness is that both bands are using music to reach people with the gospel for the purpose of salvation of souls. Full Armor has just released a worship album called "Worship Sessions Volume One", there last album prior to this was "One true God" released in 2006.
Full Armor in Fredericksburg is a like 50 something preacher trying to get his son the drummer and a couple of young nice looking guys to try to re- live his hard rock life, Ozzy sounding, without the drugs. Gave me a massive headache. Actually they acted kinda mean and not of a positive spirit. The church is weird like that too. Negative and not realistic. if they Drop the electric and harmonize and chill out, maybe they would fill the seats on a regular basis. Good luck guys
Full Armor is a hard rock christian band from Fredericksburg, Va. They have helped save many souls over the years and Pastor David Hirsch has helped thousands of people over the years with their individual hardships. His church has always been friendly and people who do attend his church are good people. Full Armor does have a couple of CD's out and younger people love his music. Pastor Dave expects people who are committed to the Lord to follow HIS word.
Fullarmor in fredericksburg has a fighter in the corner with the gloves on. No Jedi mindtricks here.Wow, Just like I thought. I left a comment and as sure as the sun shines a Ozzy promoter comes to the rescue. Just speaking what I saw. I was not questioning their faith but anywho... Why is everyone so depressed and sad all the time there? Jesus makes me have happy thoughts.
