Quruli is a groovy, fuzzed out rock group. They've gone through a series of drummers over the years, almost bringing them up to Spinal Tap-ian levels. Arguably their best drummer had been Christopher McGuire, and I'm not just saying that because I've played with a band or two during his time in Minneapolis. Their sound is a mix of almost-country, with groovy, almost psychedelic-era rock with the occasional electronic flourish. In fact they are often almost something, which can make it a bit tough to make it through some albums. Regardless of what they might be, they certainly are full of dreamy, rosy memories and raw emotion.
